Bustling during the summer with tourists, calm but lively during the winter months as Calpe has a strong population of ex – Pats. 11km of beautiful sandy beaches both sides of the famous ‘CALPE ROCK’ the Rock of Ifach. Interesting always plenty to see and do. Old Roman baths, 15th & 17th-century churches still stand. In the Moorish quarter, some of the medieval walls are still preserved intact. You will never be bored if buying a holiday home or living permanently in Calpe!!
Interesting Javea. Surrounded by lush green countryside and dramatic mountain scenery of the Montgo National Park. From beautiful sandy beaches on the playa to the buzzing fish market at the port, further along the coastline. Go ever so slightly into town, the Old Town, a different world which is really old Spain. Delightful little cobbled back streets that lead into beautiful centuries old squares. If you want the best of both in Spain buy a home in Javea.
Beautiful Moraira is a small town on the Cost Blanca 80km northeast of Alicante in the Marina Alta Region. The population is around 11,000 people, a large proportion being ex-pats living here on a permanent basis, are in 2 areas Teulada on the outskirts and Moraira on the coast. Moraira originally a small fishing village is, during the summer a thriving holiday destination for European visitors. With its beautifully clean beaches, restaurants little shops and cobbled back streets. The Castle stands proudly, overlooking the beach in the centre of town. It’s a delightful place to buy a holiday home or live here permanently.
Charming Altea the old and new mixed together. The old part of Altea is on the top of a hill giving fabulous views. A popular and pretty town although it can be quite steep and hilly in some areas.Walk along the promenade past the many frontline restaurants and bars into town just by crossing a road. Wander around to find little cobbled streets. Altea is fairly quiet during the winter months although busy in the summer due to tourism. It is becoming more and more popular with Northern Europeans buying homes here.
